For this permanent installation, Köln Bonn Airport near Deutsche Telekom's corporate headquarters was both the location and the source of the ideas. Inspired by the runway lighting of the taxiway, the permanent light installation "Take-Off" was developed.

Passing cars trigger light impulses on the system, which translate the movement of the vehicle into a dynamic display reminiscent of the take-off sequence of an aircraft.
