ICON’S WORLD – IMMERSIVE SPACE

The "ICON’S WORLD" immersive show, is part of the ongoing exhibition "ICONIC – A Timeless Journey of Culture, Society and Mobility" hosted at the DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum in Berlin.

Initially planned to run for about a year, the exhibition and the immersive show have already been extended several times and expanded to include new content.

High Res Media Canvas

High-resolution projection covers the room floor-to-ceiling on all sides. When planning the projector array and lenses, we focused on unobtrusive installation while minimizing visitor occlusion.

The content is designed as interactive real-time playback. Team wirmachenbunt (kudos) managed to squeeze 8 x 4K out of a single machine.

Interactivity

A sensor system captures visitor interaction across the entire wall surface, influencing both the visual content and the spatial audio in real time.
